Are you hurt?

To you who might be hurting now,
be it after an event that happened yesterday,
or a year.

Healing will not come from the explained,
it comes from the One up above.

Healing will not come from the one who hurt you,
but from the the One who was nailed on the cross.

Healing will not come from the one who was your friend,
but from the One who never left.

Knowledge doesn't heal you,
Self righteousness doesn't heal you,
Right relationship plus a right living does.

Already There

One line that struck me from this song is,

"To You my life is a memory"

Lord, give me the faith I need to know You are in control..

When I trip or fall

I will hit the ground, running back to You!

Come to the Well

Never think for 1 second,
that you can find satisfaction in this earth.
There is,
and always will be
only ONE Person,
who can satisfy that longing in your deepest part of your heart.

Do you need a Father who adores you?
Do you need a Brother who stands by you?
Do you need a Friend who never fails you?
Do you need a Teacher who guides you?
Do you need a Shepherd who hears you, who protects you,
who dies for you?

Awake my soul!

Attending St John St Margaret's been a real blessing to me.
When I thought my soul's been buried away a midst the troubles that brewed,
being with my family and a church THAT IS listening to God,
stirs up every part of me, causing me to be AWAKEN.

Black and white turns to gray...

Sin is enticing, just like the wolf licking a blade it thinks is meat,
sooner or later, it is licking its own blood,
Sooner or later, it dies.
